Changelog
What we shipped
A running log of product, content, editorial, and infrastructure changes — so you can see this site is actively maintained, not a static SEO content dump.
Most recent first. New entries appear when something material ships. For source citations and editorial methodology, see /sources.
editorial
Per-page social cards live for compare, industries, and use-cases
Every comparison, industry, and use-case page now has a unique dynamic OpenGraph image. Sharing /compare/sawy-vs-bland-ai shows a custom card with the page headline; /industries/plumbing shows a plumbing-specific card. Replaces the previous category-only fallback.
editorial
Source library has stable anchor permalinks
Every entry on /sources now has a stable #anchor (e.g., #hbr-oldroyd-2011, #v-ringcentral). Inline citations across the content library link directly to the editorial summary on /sources, not just the publisher's root URL.
editorial
Speakable schema added to all FAQs; Person added as second author
FAQPage entries now include SpeakableSpecification so Google Assistant, Alexa, and AI agents can read answers verbatim. Article schema now includes both an Organization and a Person author entry — stronger E-E-A-T than Organization alone.
content
Direct-answer block on every page (200/200)
Every content page now opens with either a > **Quick answer:** or > **Bottom line:** block within the first 200 words. Targets featured-snippet eligibility and AI Overview citation.
content
Every page has the primary keyword in its first 100 words
Reverse audit found 75 pages missing the primary keyword in the opening prose; an italic lede line was added to long-tail pages where the keyword didn't fit naturally. Result: 200/200 pages have keyword in first 100 words.
content
Compare pages: bottom-line verdict on each, with real pricing
All 24 compare pages now open with a > **Bottom line:** verdict naming both products, the deciding variable, and a real number. Pricing on 14 of 18 vendor pages browser-verified against the live pricing pages.
infrastructure
Custom 404, security headers, /llms.txt — production polish
Branded 404 page with proper status code; sitewide security headers (HSTS, X-Frame-Options, Permissions-Policy); /llms.txt route following the llmstxt.org 2026 standard for AI agent discovery.
editorial
/sources page live with verified citations
Public-facing /sources page lists every primary research source we cite (HBR, Forbes, Salesforce, American Express, Vonage, Forrester, BIA/Kelsey, BrightLocal, Ruby Receptionists, InsideSales/MIT) plus 15 vendor pricing references. Editorial methodology disclosed.
product
10 interactive tools live
Every /tools page is now a real interactive widget: missed-call calculator, no-show cost, hold-time cost, receptionist ROI, answering-service ROI, speed-to-lead test, greeting generator, voicemail-script generator, phone-script generator, IVR builder.
content
Internal link graph rebuilt with topical scoring
RelatedContent component switched from alphabetical slicing to token-overlap + industry-match scoring. Auto-linked 168 entity terms across MDX content, generating 631 contextual body internal links sitewide.
content
All 200 content pages bumped above 1,500-word floor
Removed all 'thousands of users', 'Start Free Trial', 'no credit card required', '14-day free trial' claims sitewide. Replaced with waitlist-aligned messaging ('Founding-customer pricing at launch'). Removed fabricated case studies and pricing claims for an unlaunched product.
