1. Create your account
Sign up with your business email and a password. Open Agents and choose New agent. Pick the Salon, Home services or Professional services preset, or start with your own configuration.
2. Add the details customers need
Set the business name, greeting, services, prices, opening hours and timezone. Add FAQs and an escalation contact. Website import gives you a preview; review it before applying it. If you use a custom voice recording, submit only a voice you own or have permission to use.
3. Test the full enquiry
Use Test chat to ask about pricing and hours, then provide synthetic contact details and request an appointment. End and save the conversation. Verify the transcript, lead and appointment request. Add a follow-up note and practice confirming, rescheduling and cancelling your test appointment.
4. Connect your channels
Enable website chat and test the iframe on your site. Configure phone, SMS and email and verify delivery with real provider accounts. Connect Cal.com for reviewed calendar bookings, Stripe for customer deposits and HubSpot if you use that CRM.
5. Check billing and operations
Choose the plan that fits your agent, number and usage limits. Review Notifications for delivery failures and test your provider fallback routing. Local mock mode is for isolated development; customer traffic needs configured providers and a live acceptance check.
Keep sensitive or regulated information out of the initial test. Your business should review the privacy policy and terms for its intended use before launch.
